The rest has been coalesced underground into a twisted mass of winding passages full of wild magic and vicious monsters, known simply as The Dungeon. Only a tiny speck of an island survived the fall. The Anuchardian paradise fell from the skies, crashing onto the world below. Five ancient Guardians gave the island their blessings. Go forth, battle monsters, solve puzzles, and restore Anuchard to its former skyward glory!Īnuchard was known as a place of wonder and peace, a land of limitless bounty suspended in the heavens above. This is convenient because when you approach an enemy when you roll, you automatically can do a Heavy attack which is a guaranteed hit.Generations after the collapse, its surviving descendants have chosen you to become The Bellwielder of the magical Audros Bell. Your Heavy Attack and your dodge roll are mapped on one button.You do this by hitting them with Heavy Attacks that slams them to a wall. Enemies with armour cannot take regular damage, so you have to destroy their armour. Use Heavy Attacks to destroy enemy armour.You can unlock new buffs for your Spire (your bell staff skill that can heal and shoot out projectiles) and also new ingredients for the kitchen. To cook your food, just pick a main ingredient (cabbage, potato, etc.), then combine it with a second ingredient. Not only that, you can also get special moves that can help with your combo strings and area-of-effect damage. Eating food at the Orchard Village kitchen run by Muthu will give you health and attack buffs. Eat food before you head out to dungeons.Some combat tips before we start with the video WALKTHROUGHS There are spoilers in the video, so here’s your warning. The game’s combat and puzzles can be a mite tricky, so here are some video walkthroughs on how to tackle each dungeon. Anuchard is out now and it’s a lovely action RPG that pays tribute to 90s Enix JRPGs like the Quintet Trilogy and even PlayStation 1 era titles like Alundra. ![]()
